This is Figure Four at the Erie PA show. XdiscipleXA.D. was supposed to play, actualy, it was supposed to be their CD release show. But they didn't play and Shattered Realm played instead. Anyway, Figure Four is an awesome band. If you havn't heard them, check them out. Their CD is out on Facedown Records. word.
if that is the way that the negative looks, just wow. it would still be a good manip.
i love the trails and the vibrancy of the light. the shapes really draw your eye to the center where the drums(?) are.

It's easy to explain simple things so they seem to be complex...to explain complex things so they seem easy - that's the real challenge!
Awesome shot. Those trails of light make it look unreal. Good expression, too. Nice job.

that's REALLY cool. I looked at it and though "that HAS to be a manip" - but I'll believe you if it really isn't. It's very eye catchiing and those colours are awesome!
Just to clear things up. This is, once again, NOT A MANIP IN ANY WAY. I know you believe me, but I'll let everyone in on gow to create such an image.
If you have manual settings on your camera, You can set it to a long exposure with flash, or slow sync. So what happens in the camera flashes, then you have another second or however you set it of exposure. So, basically you have a frozen image, which was created by the flash, then the blur, created by the rest of the long exposure. If you move your camera around in a circle, and there is say a spotlight in view, or one of the colored lights above the stage, then the light will be in a circular design, if you shake the camera alot you get a squiggly pattern or whatever.
So what I did was took the picture then spun the camera around, which creates such an image. Sorry, I'm not very good at explaining things but hopefully you get the picture.
